The new V series...any thoughts?

I saw the new V series(it was on Tuesday),and it was interesting.I remember the series from the 80's,and it's pretty much the same storyline.I enjoyed the 80's series,but this one had MUCH better special effects(well,the original WAS in the 80's).I wondered if the timing of this show was a little weird...you know with the disclosure before the end of the year....I just wondered if someone was making a last-ditch effort to make people think about invasion instead of friendship.I don't think it would matter if it was,but I was just wondering.One thing I liked about the original and the new series is it shows that some of the Visitors were not "evil reptilians" hell bent on a takeover.....I don't think that all the reptilians are negative beings.I would enjoy hearing any thoughts on this,even if you haven't seen the series(new or original)

here we go again"aliens are all bad",when will people learn "aliens"are just like us some are good and some are bad,just like humans.

IF you'd actually watched the series, you'd know that while it clearly depicts some kind of reptilian civilization attempting to deceive and dominate mankind (which is nothing new), it also promotes the idea that there is a good number of reptilian rebels attempting to stop that from happening.

In that, it is close to the original series, and kind of close to some stories you can read about the Orion Wars, the Orion Black League and some of the tyrannic reptilian civilizations in general.
